Youth Performance Program

Ages 5+ (Beginner to Advanced)

We believe in achieving peak athleticism, mental stability, and career longevity through proper training. At Clear Elite Sports we've adopted the "Early Diversification /Late Specialization Model" and created a program around it.

This method of training addresses particular needs of age groups based on Physiology, Reactive Ability, and Strength/Mobility. Theory being that they develop a diverse range of skills, which can be transferred across a multitude of sports.  The upside is that it promotes intrinsic motivation and balance through increased exposure, and also ensures longevity, without burnout of an individual sport.

Below is a breakdown of each phase through our Youth Performance Program.

Sessions Available (Mon-Sun)

Skill Level: Beginner- Advanced | Duration: 60 min

Ages 5-8 | Foundational

(Motor Skills Training, Building Agility Balance, Coordination)

The focus of the Foundational Phase is to introduce athletes to movements and encourage them to adapt.

This phase will help them become proficient at general movement patterns like jumping, landing, sprinting, and changing directions.

Ages 9-12 | Developmental

(Motor Skills Training, Strength, Movement Efficiency, Agility, Foundational Movement Patterns)

The Developmental Phase will begin to teach athletes how to train. Strength building movement patterns will be introduced while the movements from the previous phase will be built upon. We also introduce light resistance that promote the growth of fast twitch muscle fibers.

Ages 12-15 | Pre-Specialization

(Strength, Agility, Power, Explosiveness, and Encouraging General Athleticism)

In this phase, we’ll throw more novel stimulus at your young athlete in the form of more intense training, more advanced plyometrics, speed drills, and agility drills.

The emphasis, is building strength to increase power and explosiveness.

Age 15+ | Investment

At this phase, athletes are physically and psychologically developed enough to really specialize in just one sport. 

Along with this specialization comes the opportunity – if they are talented and determined enough – to earn a spot in the levels of competition, including professional and national teams.
